Australian Labradoodle Coat Types

There are two Australian Labradoodle coat types that are considered allergy friendly; Fleece and Wool. The Fleece coat has a soft textured fleecy feeling and has two variations; wavy fleece and curly fleece. The Wool coat has a definite dense wool feel, and is mildly to very curly. There is a third type of coat, but this is NOT allergy friendly, named the Hair coat however this has become less popular and so is considered rare. It too varies from short wiry to long combination. These Hair coats will soon be a thing of the past, but for now they still play an important part in the historic breeding and development of the fleece coat.
