Choosing your Breeder

They protect and promote ethics and breed standards insisting that WALA breeders abide by strict health criteria’s. They only accept breeders that meet their standards. Making sure that WALA breeders dogs are authentic registrable Australian Labradoodle.

They have comprehensive and accurate database to preserve pedigrees and health information.

Ask your chosen WALA Breeder for the Parents WALA Registration. WALA Breeders register each Breeding dog separately with WALA … each dog that is registered has their Health tests and pedigrees checked

by WALA. Only WALA check each breeding dog

Here is the minimum health tests that you should expect from your chosen Breeder


Hip scored by the BVA, AVA, OFA or Pennhip and

Elbow scored by the BVA. They will undergo Eye testing tests for the following inherited eye diseases: MRD – Multifocal Retinal Dysplasia TRD – Total Retinal Dysplasia GPRA – Generalised Progressive Retinal Atrophy CPRA – Central Progressive Retinal Atrophy

DNA Tests - VWD (Von Willebrand )

DNA Tests - PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy)

DNA Test - DM (Degenerative Myelopathy)

DNA Test - IC (Improper Coat)

DNA Test - EIC (Exercise-induced Collapse)

All puppies should be bred in a home and live in a home full time.

They should be health checked by a vet, microchipped, wormed, vaccinated
